Rhinoplasty - Case 7

This 16-year-old young lady is only two weeks out from her nose surgery and healing beautifully! Our goals were to reduce the hump on her nose and to make a subtle change to the tip of her nose so that it didn't hang as low from the front and didn't project out to a point from the side. Using a closed approach, with no incisions on the outside of the nose, Dr. Cross reduced the cartilage part of the bump of her nose and polished down the bony part of the bump. Dr. Cross then used a series of suturing techniques to mold the cartilages of her nose. This technique helps to preserve the strength of the cartilages and to minimize scarring. As a result, we can get results that are this well healed after just a few days of recovery.
