WHAT IS AQUAGOLD® FINE TOUCH™?
Many people interested in facial rejuvenation want to know: What exactly is Fine Touch™â€”and is AQUAGOLD® better than microneedling?
AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch™ is a patented, 24-carat gold-plated microchannel microinjection system that gently penetrates the skin’s surface to deliver medications and better allow nourishing ingredients to be absorbed.
Although aspects of microneedling are involved, this treatment is not the same thing. Instead, AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch™ is a type of microinjection device. Microneedling involves pricking the outer surface of the skin with tiny, sterilized needles to stimulate the growth of collagen. AQUAGOLD® Fine Touchâ„¢ infuses the skin with small doses of products to nourish the skin or target specific types of imperfections. The AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch™ device consists of 20 hollow 24k gold microchannels. Each microchannel is thinner than a human hair and delivers whatever liquid is added to the vial as they puncture the skin. Since the channels are so tiny, the treatment is virtually painless.

No injectables should be used for a period of two weeks before and after an AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch™ session. We recommend refraining from intense exercise for at least 24 hours after the treatment. Since AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch™ is a superficial treatment, we also discourage the use of lasers in the treated area for a period of four to six weeks.
The microinjection technique reduces side effects such as bruising and bleeding that are associated with traditional manual syringe needle injections. It prevents overdosing or getting needles too deep in the skin, which makes it ideal for sensitive areas on the face.
