Some plastic surgeons believe that a neck lift is not possible without combining it with a facelift. Dr. Cross does not share this belief and has performed many neck lift procedures without the need for a facelift. This patient was 57 years old when she came to the office for a surgical consultation. She wanted to address the poor shape and contour of her neck and did not want a facelift. Now 60, this patient has chin and neck definition that was achieved with a neck lift and without changing the shape of the rest of her face.
