Eyelid Surgery - Case 1

This 57-year-old patient was very bothered by the dark circles under her eyes and the overall tired appearance that she was projecting. She has mild dry eyes, so Dr. Cross had to be careful with her procedure. As anyone who has come in to see Dr. Cross for eyelid rejuvenation will attest, he is constantly talking about the benefit of taking fat from where we don’t want it in the undereye area and moving it to where we do want it. Here, we have a perfect example of what that is able to achieve. Dr. Cross has “blended” the transition from the cheek to the eyelid. This takes away the puffiness in the under eyes, fills in the hollow circles below the puffiness, and results in more youthful, rested, yet natural-looking features. Dr. Cross combined this with a very subtle upper eyelid lift to clean up a little extra skin and to complete the picture.
